PHOENIX - Phoenix PD arrested one man connected to 12 different armed robberies, 10 of those at Phoenix Circle K convenience stores, according to court documents.

The two other armed robberies were at a Chevron and a stolen vehicle.

All of the robberies happened between Oct. 14 and Dec. 7, court documents say. Phoenix PD began investigating the series of robberies, looking for men between 20-25 years old.

One of the suspects was always wearing hooded sweatshirts, a unique dark-colored baseball hat, and bandannas. According to court docs, the suspects would hold up weapons to cashiers before jumping over the counter and taking money from the drawer, City of Phoenix bus passes and cigarettes.

On Nov. 23, after two men robbed a Circle K at 3402 N. 35th Ave., police located one of the suspects not far from the scene matching the description given by witnesses, according to court docs.

Police identified one of the suspects as Daniel Joseph Ramos, 28, and booked him into jail after he wouldn't give any information on his accomplice.

Officers discovered Daniel had a 30-year-old brother named Vincent Ramos, who matched the description of suspects given by witnesses.

On Nov. 27, officers showed a photographic line-up to victims in several of the robberies and they all positively identified Vincent Ramos as one of the suspects, according to court docs.

Police connected Vincent Ramos to five more robberies between Dec. 4 and Dec. 10, according to court docs.

Officers had been looking for Vincent Ramos since late October. On Dec. 11, Vincent Ramos fled from officers who were waiting for him at his home, court documents say.

Officers eventually caught up to Vincent Ramos and arrested him. He refused to answer any questions on the crimes. But, officers found he had on the same sneakers and a similar tattoo on his neck as described by a victim in one of the robberies, court documents say.

Officers searched his home and found evidence connecting him to different robberies. Evidence including a skateboard used in the robberies, a box cutter, gym bag, bus passes and clothing items all used in robberies, according to court documents.

Vincent Ramos was booked on 19 different felony charges including 10 counts of armed robbery, six counts of aggravated assault, kidnapping, robbery and unlawful use of means of transportation.
