GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Last week, Goodyear PD arrested a convicted bank robber during another bank robbery who was also wanted for escaping a federal incarceration facility, the FBI says.

Charles Manrow, 82, presented a teller at First Bank on N. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear on Thursday with a note demanding money. He also showed the teller a weapon.

Manrow fled with an undisclosed amount of money, but Goodyear PD stopped his vehicle shortly after the robbery and arrested him.

Manrow was already wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for walking away from Garden Grove Residential Re-entry Center, a federal incarceration in Orange County, Calif. in September.

In 2007, Manrow was sentenced to 181 months (15 years) in prison and four years of supervised release after an armed bank robbery.

He's been charged with 11 bank robberies in four states, including California, Colorado, Utah and Arizona between 2005 and 2007.
