Who doesn’t love a good reunion video?

The City of Buckeye Fire Department recently shared a heartwarming video on their Facebook page featuring a Valley family.

According to the post, Tim Cowdell has been in the United States Air Force for 18 years and he wanted to find a way to surprise his family as he came home after an 8-month deployment in South Korea.

Adam Dunbar is Cowdell’s close friend and wanted to help with the surprise. Dunbar is a reserve firefighter with the Tonopah Fire District, and helped put the plan in motion.

With his wife in on the surprise, Cowdell arrived at his home dressed in full firefighter gear, hiding his identity. Once the arrived, the crew went through a presentation for the community, including his kids.

At the end of the presentation, Cowdell took off his mask to the complete surprise of his three children. As soon as the kids realized who he was, they rushed to him with tears in their eyes and gave him a big hug.

Looks like the Cowdell family will have a pretty great holiday.
